This privacy policy describes which personal data we process when you use this website and which rights you have. It is aligned with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Hosting and server log files
When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data (for example IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser type). The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (necessary operation and security of the website). This data is not combined with other data sources and is usually deleted after a short period, unless a longer retention is required to investigate incidents or to meet legal obligations.
3. Contact form
If you write to us through the contact form, we process your name, email address and the content of your message in order to answer the enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual communication) and your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give by submitting the form and may withdraw at any time.
The message is transmitted to our mail service at mailgate.triggerfish.dev and then handled by email. We keep enquiries only for as long as needed to handle them, document the correspondence and meet statutory retention duties.
4. Cookies and local storage
We store your cookie choice in a technically necessary cookie and/or in local storage for 12 months so that we can remember whether analytics is allowed. The legal basis for this necessary storage is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
Video, fonts and the optional WebGL enhancement run entirely in the browser. They do not set tracking cookies.
You can delete stored entries in your browser and change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
5. Google Analytics
If you choose “Accept all”, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used (for example pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and referring site). Analytics is not loaded if you choose “Necessary only”.
The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may process data on servers in the United States. Where this involves a transfer to a third country, Google relies on Standard Contractual Clauses and related safeguards.
Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use Google Signals or advertising features. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings”; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Analytics data is retained according to the Google Analytics property settings, typically up to 14 months, unless you object or delete the cookies earlier.
6. Sharing of data
Personal data is not sold. It is shared only where this is required to operate the website, handle your enquiry, comply with the law, or enforce rights (Article 6(1)(b), (c) or (f) GDPR), or where you have consented to Google Analytics.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as the relevant purpose exists or statutory duties require a longer retention. Contact enquiries are deleted after handling is complete and any evidence periods have expired.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information or the competent state authority.

We do not make automated decisions including profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
9. Children
This website is not directed at people under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
